Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and motivation to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) products and services all through an engagement using the company's senior supervisors at a strategic setting up session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the numerous social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric final exams.
With the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% from the registered pupils during the education and learning sector.
These learners attained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
